Those gaps are in the original. Place the pellet\n\u003cstrong\u003elarge end first\u003c\/strong\u003e over the chamber above the pin head, hammer it\nuntil it fills the dovetail, caulk it well in, and cut off any excess flush.\nThe drawing is explicit about the large end going in first — a pellet driven the\nwrong way round will not lock.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch3\u003eSafety\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e⚠️ Lead is toxic.
