Freshwater Anodes

Anodes for fresh water. Magnesium to ASTM B843 is the fresh-water alloy; zinc is the wrong choice and will passivate. Where zinc is required in fresh or buried service, it must be ASTM B418 Type II, the high-purity grade, not the Type I seawater alloy.
