Collection: Towline Stretchers

The elastic element in the tow — 12-strand polyester grommets, 44 mm to 77 mm, and double braid nylon, sized to absorb the shock a low-stretch main towline passes straight through.

The grommets are built from two parts lashed to an overall 40 m, with a covered eye formed at each end and lashings every two metres. Nylon stretches furthest of the three fibres, which is why it is still the fibre of choice for a snubber.
