32 mm x 200 ft Double-Braid Nylon Stretcher

Double braid in Nylon, 32 mm diameter, 200 ft long, spliced and ready to rig.

0.9 m (3 ft) soft eyes spliced at each end, with chafe guard around both eyes and 3.0 m (10 ft) up the line.

What it does

A stretcher is the elastic element in the tow. A low-stretch main towline passes shock loading straight through to the gear and the hull; the stretcher is the piece that absorbs it.

It is rigged in line with the towline and is the component that should be inspected most often, because it is the one doing the absorbing.

Breaking loads, and any test or certification requirement, are quoted on request against the finished assembly. No test certificate is supplied with a standard order.
