Aircraft Tiedown Kit
Four straps and four ground stakes — everything needed to tie down on ground with no anchors in it.
4 × CGU-1/B straps rated 5,000 lb, and 4 × heavy-duty steel ground stakes, 36 in long and 7/8 in thick, 3.5 kg each. For grass strips, farm fields and gravel, where there is nothing to hook onto.
CGU-1/B Tie-Down Straps
The straps on their own, in packs of 4 and 8.
Rated 5,000 lb (2,250 kg), 18 ft of heavy nylon webbing, ratchet one end and a positive-locking snap hook the other, to MIL-PRF-27260 / SAE AS27260. A pack of 4 covers one aircraft — two wings and the tail — with a spare.
