Kenter (Link) Shackle Punch with Handle

Kenter Shackle Punches are used to remove the locking taper pin from a Kenter to disassemble it.

Punches are used with a sledgehammer to remove the taper pin, from the small side of the taper pin—the opposite side from where the lead plug goes.

The lead plug should be removed before attempting to use a Punch. The lead plug can easily be melted with a propane/acetylene torch to remove it.
