Lead Plug (Pellet) — Qty 3
Pure lead plugs molded into a conical shape for securing the taper pin inside Kenter shackles. One plug is large enough for all kenters under 3" (76mm) — simply cut the excess off with a saw or pliers for smaller sizes. Supplied in quantities of 3 per order.

Applications
- Securing the locking taper pin inside any Kenter shackle
- Required for all Kenter shackle installations

Installation Instructions
- Insert the taper pin into the kenter shackle.
- Place the lead plug (large end) over the pin hole.
- Hammer firmly until the plug is flush and the pin is fully secured.
- For smaller kenters: cut off the excess plug with a saw or pliers before hammering flush.
- Inspect seating visually before placing into service.
