A long-reach hand scraper with an aluminum bronze head and shaft — a 3-3/4″ square blade on a 19″ overall length, finished with a moulded grip — enough leverage to work two-handed without a separate handle, and enough reach to get into a tank without kneeling on it.

A note on non-sparking tools

Aluminum bronze reduces the risk of a frictional or impact spark; it does not remove every ignition source, and it is not a substitute for gas freeing, ventilation or a permit system. Bronze is softer than steel — it wears faster and can pick up embedded steel particles that will spark, so these tools need cleaning and inspection in service. The hazardous-area assessment is your safety case.
