For heat transfer only — not suitable for lifting. Kiln chain
hangs in a kiln as a heat exchanger and as a scraper. It is not rated for load,
it carries no working load limit, and it must never be used for lifting or
rigging. The catalogue page says so on every family and so do we.

Installation
Hang the chain on the shackle.
Position the shackle over the hanger.
Push the pin through shackle and hanger.
Place the locking plate in its recess.
Straighten the locking plate with a few hammer blows.
